Now I’m researching about digital technology at our school seminar. The thing, which I’m holding in the picture is a skeleton model of myself! This is 40% size of my real body. This model is made by 3D-printer based on the slice data of my body. This Japanese technology is called “Bio-Texture Modeling”. When I was researching about the digital technology in medical field, I found an article about it. I became really interested in it, and went to meet the doctor who developed it. Then the doctor modeled the body of myself with the CT data of my body.

 When I got this model, I was so surprised to see it and felt mysterious and beauty of human body. Then I got an idea. The idea is to make my model regularly and it helps us see the process of my growth. And if I become ill in the future, we can easily find the cause of the diseases through the models. It will contribute to the prevention of diseases.
